I started this project the last semester of my senior year at the University of Texas. The inspiration for Timeless came through my own struggles of trauma and depression after being sexually assaulted. In the midst of that suffering, I felt like I would never get past it, despite the number of people who told me how strong I was and that it would get better. When I finally entered a new season in life, free of depression after months of therapy, I realized those people were right. More importantly, I realized that we all go through different types of struggles, and that life is still worth living despite the pain it may bring us.

My dream for this project is to spark inspiration and hope for every person who views this site, and to create a connection between people through the telling of different obstacles we all face.
About the project
about the author
Hi! This is me (the girl in the picture lol). I am basically an all-things-creative person. I'm a journalist, creative writer, poet, graphic designer, videographer, photographer, artist, dog-lover, Netflix-watcher, night-owl, Grey's Anatomy lover, tattoo-addicted person. I embrace all things weird, like any true Austinite. I mostly check Facebook for memes and videos of dogs.

My favorite person in the world is my pitbull, Gunny (yes, I meant person, she's a person). #gunnyandtote I'm Tote. I love butterflies and trees. I believe in having several favorite things, and multiple best friends. I am the second oldest child out of five kids, and they're all my best friends. Growing up in a house full of people, my life was basically like My Big Fat Greek Wedding but like the Mexican-Guatemalan-Texan version.
